Join Our Team at Executive Aviation as a Ground Handler

We are looking for dedicated Ground Handlers for our Kamloops Below the Wing team at Kamloops Airport (YKA) in British Columbia, Canada.
Working under the guidance of a supportive Shift Lead, you'll have the opportunity to provide essential ground service support to some of Canada’s top airlines, while enjoying numerous benefits including competitive wages, health coverage, and exclusive flight discounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere strictly to airline procedures in compliance with Transport Canada regulations.
- Operate and drive various ground service equipment safely and efficiently.
- Guide aircraft to the gate by marshalling and wing-walking duties.
- Handle guest baggage by sorting, loading, offloading according to load plans, and delivering it to the claim area for conveyor system transfer.
- Perform servicing of aircraft water systems and lavatories.
- Inspect ramp areas for debris and ensure prompt removal and proper disposal.
- Maintain aircraft cleanliness, including the cabin, galleys, lavatories, and restocking lavatory supplies.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned to support operational excellence.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Flexibility to work variable shifts including early mornings, days, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical capability to stand, lift (up to 70 lbs/32 kg), bend, crouch, kneel, push, and pull for prolonged periods.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Mandatory use of safety equipment: steel-toe boots with green patch, reflective vest, and hearing protection.
- Ability to meet employment prerequisites including possession of a Restricted Area pass issued by Transport Canada, a clean criminal background check, and a valid British Columbia driver's license with a clear abstracts.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive pay range between $18.40 and $21.45 per hour with excellent opportunities for advancement.
