Role Overview

The Graphic Designer will strengthen pitch decks and showcase Viral Nation’s creative capabilities through compelling visual design and thoughtful creative execution. This role requires the ability to convert ideas or strategic direction into visual narratives so that potential clients can quickly grasp the goals, impact, and strength of the creative work without needing additional explanation.

What You Will Do

• Partner with the Creative team to build pitch decks, RFP materials, creative concepts, and mockups in Google Slides or other needed formats.
• Develop ideas and creative concepts alongside Creative team members and Strategists.
• Create sketches, rough layouts, and storyboards to help bring ideas to life when needed.
• Translate marketing goals, strategic positioning, and audience needs into effective design solutions for each brand.
• Take assignments from concept through final delivery while working to tight deadlines.
• Share completed concepts with the team and make revisions based on feedback.
• Keep up with design trends and follow current best practices.
• Work with the project manager or deck lead to ensure all Business Development assets reflect the team’s actual capabilities.
• Coordinate with other Viral Nation departments to gather assets and materials needed for RFPs or internal projects.

What You Need

• 1–2 years of professional experience as a Graphic Designer.
• Practical experience in graphic design, including creative ideation, logo design, typography, colour use, web layout design, social media graphics, mockups, pitch deck design, and image selection.
• Strong working knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Google Slides.
• A solid portfolio that clearly demonstrates design ability.
• Ability to receive, interpret, and apply feedback effectively.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and presentation skills.
• Comfort with developing creative ideas independently.
• Good understanding of the RFP process.
• Experience creating pitch deck templates and mockups.
• Relevant education or training in the field.

Compensation

The annual salary for this position is CAD 60,000 to CAD 70,000. Final compensation is determined through the interview process based on the role’s scope, experience, skill match, and expected contribution. Pay is reviewed through a structured, performance-based approach aligned to market conditions and internal equity.

Pay is reviewed regularly during formal performance reviews and check-ins.
