About the Role
Rangiora Medical Centre invites applications for a dedicated General Practitioner to join our dynamic and forward-thinking team in Rangiora, North Canterbury. This role offers full-time or part-time hours in a state-of-the-art, soon-to-be-opened facility. Our practice is focused on delivering exceptional primary healthcare and actively shaping the future of health services within our vibrant community.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive healthcare to both registered and walk-in patients covering acute, chronic, and preventative needs.
- Collaborate closely with nurses, administrative and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement efforts and adhere to clinical best practices.
- Engage in multidisciplinary care planning and decision-making to enhance patient outcomes.
- Drive equitable health outcomes and innovate approaches to primary care delivery.
Requirements
- Vocational registration as a General Practitioner or eligibility for New Zealand vocational registration.
- Current registration and practicing certificate from the Medical Council of New Zealand.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build lasting relationships with patients.
- A firm commitment to patient-centered care, preventative health, and community wellbeing.
- Team-oriented with a collaborative work ethic and excellent clinical judgment.
- Dedication to promoting health equity and continuous professional development.
