BaxterStorey is hiring a General Assistant for a friendly office-based site in Tunbridge Wells, Royal Tunbridge Wells, England, United Kingdom. This is a Monday-to-Friday position working 40 hours each week, with a salary of up to £28,186 per annum.

About the opportunity
The company is looking for someone with prior experience in quality food catering services who can help deliver a welcoming dining experience for office staff. The role is suited to a person who enjoys working with food, serving customers, and contributing to a positive workplace environment.
What you will do
- Support the Catering Supervisor and Chef Manager across day-to-day food service activities.
- Take payment for food and beverages.
- Provide consistently strong service to repeat customers in an office environment.
- Build good relationships with customers and help ensure they are satisfied each day.
- Handle food in line with the organisation’s Food Safety and Quality standards.
- Maintain strong attention to detail and high standards for health and safety.
- Work in a polite, upbeat, and service-focused manner.
- Learn new tasks and continue developing your skills.
- Receive training to prepare barista-style drinks.
