About the Role

A dynamic fintech startup, rapidly expanding, is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to transform a traditional industry. You will collaborate within a small, driven team and have the chance to take full ownership of features from conception through release and continuous enhancement. Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive web application features encompassing both front-end and back-end components starting from scratch.
Implement integrations with third-party APIs and design dependable state management systems.
Manage projects through all phases, from initial idea to deployment and ongoing improvements.
Maintain accountability for exceptional quality standards for yourself and peers.

Requirements

Between two and nine years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
Expertise in TypeScript, React, Python (using FastAPI), PostgreSQL, and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Demonstrated skills in constructing web applications.
Experience working in fintech or other regulated sectors.
Solid foundation in computer science principles.

Preferred Qualifications

Personal projects showcasing initiative and innovation.
Educational credentials from a well-regarded institution; attendance at a prestigious university is advantageous.
Background experience outside of major technology corporations; employment at large firms such as Amazon is acceptable.

Location and Additional Details

This position is fully remote but requires working within U.S. time zones, with a primary office hub located in New York, NY. The employer does not provide visa sponsorship.
