Full-Time Nanny for Two Young Children

Overview

We are looking to hire a dependable and experienced full-time nanny to provide care for our two children, ages two years and a newborn, based in Coquitlam, BC. This position demands a calm and adaptable caregiver who can handle varying schedules with minimal notice due to the parents' professional commitments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, nurturing care tailored to children under three years old.
• Ensure a safe and engaging environment for children's growth and development.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks suited to young children.
• Manage diaper changes, feeding assistance, nap supervision, bathing, and age-appropriate activities.
• Carry out light housekeeping connected to childcare, such as washing children's laundry, cleaning bottles and dishes, organizing play and sleeping areas, and kitchen cleanup following meal preparation.
• Follow established routines and keep parents informed with regular updates on the children's well-being and activities.

Schedule and Availability

• Highly flexible with availability for overnight shifts as needed.
• Ability to work long full-day shifts approximately 10–12 hours.
• Willingness to accept shorter shifts under 4 hours.
• Availability during weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Capacity to respond and come to work on short notice, sometimes within 30 minutes.

Qualifications

• Current certification in Infant and Child First Aid and CPR.
• Proven expertise managing infants and toddlers independently and safely.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Self-motivated with ability to maintain a structured, secure, and caring environment.

Compensation
