Frontend Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive Frontend Developer to design, develop, and sustain enterprise-grade web applications. The role entails collaborating with backend teams, architects, quality assurance specialists, and business stakeholders to achieve solutions that meet operational needs and standards.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain frontend applications using Angular, JavaScript, and Node.js frameworks.
• Develop and support Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) services that complement the frontend components.
• Work closely with backend developers to define API specifications, data contracts, and integrations between services.
• Engage with multiple domains and systems to guarantee smooth end-to-end application functionality.
• Execute unit tests and contribute to integration testing to uphold software quality.
• Diagnose and resolve application-related issues spanning frontend and backend interactions.
• Review and seek clarification on business requirements to resolve ambiguities before starting development.
• Ensure developed solutions adhere to coding standards, project protocols, and acceptance benchmarks.
• Participate in architectural and design discussions, offering technical guidance and recommendations.
• Assist with deployment procedures, rectify defects, and investigate production problems.
• Join in code review sessions and promote ongoing improvements in processes and code quality.

Required Expertise

• Proficiency in Angular, JavaScript, and Node.js for frontend development.
• Experience building enterprise web applications with strong UI architecture and responsive design knowledge.
• Ability to build or maintain Backend-for-Frontend services.
• Hands-on experience integrating and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Competence in writing and executing unit tests.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems concepts.
• Familiarity with messaging platforms such as Solace or Kafka.
• Experience working within Agile or Scrum development frameworks.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills; ability to work independently while collaborating across teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Oracle Database, SQL, and cloud-native/containerized environments.
• Proactive clarification of requirements and early risk identification.
• Accountability for assigned tasks through their full lifecycle from design to deployment.
• Commitment to writing maintainable, high-quality code.
• Detail-oriented approach with a focus on quality assurance.
• Continuous improvement mindset on processes and technical solutions.
