Role Overview
Serving on a fixed-term contract within the Finance team, you will be pivotal in delivering precise financial insights and bolstering business decisions for the Asia region. Your engagement will ensure seamless continuation of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) tasks during a crucial transition phase.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile and evaluate monthly financial reports to support accurate and timely business decisions.
- Assist in financial planning efforts including budgeting and forecasting for the Asia region.
- Examine discrepancies among actual results, budgets, and forecasts, offering informed insights to relevant parties.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and support business performance enhancement.
- Identify and promote improvements in financial processes for increased efficiency.
- Enhance reporting tools and dashboards to facilitate data analysis and communication.
- Prepare presentations and financial documents for internal communication and management review meetings.
- Coordinate with regional finance teams to maintain data consistency and reliability.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analyses contributing to comprehensive performance monitoring.
Candidate Profile
- Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Brings at least 5 years’ experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or equivalent roles.
- Possesses strong analytical capabilities to interpret financial information and generate actionable insights.
- Demonstrates high proficiency in Microsoft Excel and excellent skills in PowerPoint presentations.
- Fluent in English, which is the day-to-day working language.
- Capable of effectively managing tasks in a fast-paced environment, particularly around month-end closing.
- Exhibits excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with a collaborative approach.
- Shows a proactive, organized, and solution-focused mindset.
- Familiarity with tools such as Power BI, M3, or Ivalua is advantageous.
