Financial Analyst

Position Overview

The Financial Analyst is essential for managing the company’s payment operations and ensuring financial reconciliations are performed accurately and on time. This role emphasizes maintaining data integrity through meticulous reconciliation and resolving payment discrepancies to support the organization’s financial stability and operational efficiency. The Analyst collaborates with various stakeholders to ensure compliance and uphold consistent reporting standards. This position reports directly to the Associate, Financial Reporting & Compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor payment transactions, ensuring correctness and prompt payment processing.
• Reconcile commissions paid to partners, guaranteeing timely payments and accuracy.
• Identify and rectify any payment process discrepancies, aligning with organizational norms.
• Perform daily reconciliation of financial records to verify accuracy and data integrity.
• Conduct subsidiary ledger and monthly balance reconciliations, addressing any inconsistencies swiftly.
• Implement strong financial controls to preserve data accuracy and reduce risk exposure.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Have between 1 and 3 years of experience in financial reporting, operational finance roles, or similar capacities.
• Possess basic knowledge of financial statements regarding assets and liabilities, tax and regulatory compliance, budgeting, and reconciliation procedures.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and competence in analyzing extensive data sets.
• Exhibit exceptional detail orientation and strong analytical thinking skills.
• Show excellent organizational capabilities and multitasking proficiency.
• Communicate effectively and build strong relationships with cross-department teams.
• Work efficiently under pressure to meet established deadlines.
• Approach tasks proactively with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
