Field Assistants - Alberta

Position Overview

We are inviting applications for full-time Field Assistants based in Blackfalds and Grande Prairie, Alberta. This role involves field work throughout Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Northern British Columbia, traveling approximately 20 days per month to perform duties related to gas well testing.

About the Role

• Assist in rigging equipment in and out at job sites.
• Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of well testing equipment under supervisor guidance.
• Take precise readings from gauges and monitors during work shifts.
• Comply with regulations from governing bodies and proactively seek clarification when needed.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures strictly.
• Work extended shifts that can exceed 12 hours and be prepared for travel away from home.
• Carry out assigned tasks as directed by Field Supervisors and Management.

Candidate Profile

• No prior oil & gas industry or well testing experience required.
• Must live within 30 minutes of the Red Deer or Grande Prairie locations.
• Possess certifications including Standard First Aid, H2S Alive, and CSO training from Energy Safety Canada.
• Pre-employment drug and alcohol screening mandatory due to safety-sensitive nature of role.

Compensation and Benefits

Starting day rates are $300 plus subsistence allowance. The company provides an excellent benefit package and an RRSP matching program.
