Role Overview

The F&B Support Expert at Al Maha facilitates smooth and memorable food and beverage experiences by supporting operational tasks ranging from table preparation and kitchen assistance to maintaining cleanliness and replenishing supplies. Each duty aims to enhance guest satisfaction and contribute to the quality and safety of services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, timely, and professional service to guests, anticipating their needs and acknowledging them warmly.
• Ensure dining and work areas remain clean by clearing tables, collecting used items, and adhering to "clean-as-you-go" policies.
• Set tables appropriately for various service types, maintaining high standards for linens, glassware, flatware, and other dining essentials.
• Support kitchen operations through food preparation tasks such as portioning, chopping, and proper storage.
• Inspect and ensure the cleanliness of all dinnerware and glassware before use.
• Manage inventory tasks including stock checks for food, liquor, and supplies, and assist in restocking and organizing stock areas.
• Complete closing procedures including cleaning equipment and premises, securing perishable items, and adhering to safety protocols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and colleagues, ensuring discretion when discussing work-related matters.
• Build and maintain respectful and cooperative relationships with coworkers and departments to promote teamwork.
• Comply with quality assurance standards and maintain all company policies related to safety and security, immediately reporting any incidents or hazards.
• Properly utilize personal protective equipment, adhere to safety training, and follow emergency protocols as required.

Preferred Qualifications & Attributes

• Higher education diploma or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
• Prior experience in a food and beverage environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Positive demeanor, dependability, integrity, adaptability, and the ability to handle stress effectively.
• Good command of the English language and effective listening abilities.
• Capable of multitasking and retaining important information efficiently.
