Fabricator

Primary Responsibilities

• Marking layouts for the fabrication of heavy structures such as masts, substructures, and mud systems.
• Cutting and bevelling materials including beams, tubing, channels, and angles using gas torches with knowledge of nozzles.
• Grinding bevels and edges to achieve the correct angle.
• Using a variety of measuring instruments like tapes, fabrication tools, and weld gauges accurately.
• Verifying quantity and sizes of materials received from the preparation shop.
• Maintaining a clean work area and ensuring safe material handling.
• Complying with company safety guidelines and regulations at all times.
• Performing additional tasks as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Minimum of 3 years fabrication experience specifically in Oil and Gas projects.
• Proficiency with fabrication tools.
• High school education completed (10th grade pass) along with at least 3 years of fabricator experience.
