Export & Compliance Officer

Job Overview

The Export & Compliance Officer is responsible for managing all aspects of export documentation, PMMC licensing, and ensuring international compliance standards are met. This role requires close coordination with customs at Kotoka Airport and communication with global buyers.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and submitting PMMC export permits along with relevant declarations.
• Coordinating with customs officials, airlines, and international refineries to facilitate smooth export operations.
• Ensuring full adherence to Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies for all export transactions.
• Monitoring shipments using GPS tracking systems and issuing proof of export documentation.
• Maintaining detailed export documentation and records to support audits and compliance verification.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, International Trade, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of two years’ professional experience in export documentation or compliance roles.
• Strong knowledge of PMMC and Ghana export laws and regulations.
• Fluency in English with excellent writing skills for preparing reports.
