Role Overview
The Executive Director of Emergency Management is responsible for delivering expert leadership and authoritative guidance on emergency management strategies within the department and across the health system. This role ensures compliance with legislative requirements related to mitigating risks, handling impacts, and facilitating recovery from emergencies.
Core Responsibilities
The incumbent will oversee both routine business operations and crisis response activities. This includes collaboration with government entities and emergency management organizations at multiple levels — local, regional, state, interstate, and national. Representing the department in various governance committees, exercises, and forums related to emergency management is integral to the position.

Candidate Profile
