Role Summary

The Executive Director will steward the organisation's strategic direction, ensuring sustainable growth and program excellence. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, this role demands leadership in governance, organizational development, fundraising, program oversight, and partnership cultivation.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide the creation and implementation of EB Impact's long-term strategic plan aligned with its mission.
• Collaborate closely with the Board to enhance governance structures, provide timely updates, and facilitate informed decision-making and risk management.
• Strengthen organisational capabilities through team development, clarifying roles, and optimizing operational systems.
• Direct the design, execution, and evaluation of core programs such as youth engagement platforms and sustainability initiatives.
• Expand and scale signature projects including The Sustainability Youth Festival (TSYF) and Seeds of Change.
• Ensure programs remain effective, pertinent, and responsive to community needs.
• Formulate and implement fundraising approaches spanning grants, sponsorships, and partnerships.
• Foster and sustain relationships with funders, corporate partners, and government stakeholders.
• Manage financial processes such as budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and cost optimization to uphold financial health.
• Develop strategic partnerships across government, corporate, and non-profit sectors to promote EB Impact's mission.
• Position the organisation prominently as a thought leader in sustainability education and community engagement.
• Investigate and create new initiatives, including advisory or consulting services in sustainability strategy and reporting.

Candidate Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in nonprofit leadership, social impact, or related domains.
• Demonstrable success in strategic planning, fundraising, and partnership cultivation.
• Proven leadership skills with experience in team building and management.
• Experience collaborating with Boards or governance authorities.
• Preferably knowledgeable about sustainability, climate action, and community development.
• Entrepreneurial approach suited to agile and evolving organisational environments.
