Overview

As part of the Premier League's Media department in London, this role provides executive support to three Directors overseeing Media Sales & Servicing, Digital Media, and Football DataCo, while also offering secondary assistance to the Executive Assistant to the Chief Media Officer. The department manages one of the world’s leading sports media assets, engaging in broadcast partnerships, digital product development, and global audience growth. Operating in a fast-paced environment, the team collaborates with broadcasters, clubs, and production partners worldwide to deliver major media rights partnerships and fan-centric digital experiences. This position offers a chance to join a dynamic, collaborative team supporting high-impact projects that reach millions of fans globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently manage complex, changing diaries for Directors, balancing priorities and optimizing time.
  • Arrange international travel, including visa coordination and itineraries, anticipating challenges.
  • Proactively handle a Senior Director’s inbox, prioritizing urgent correspondence and tracking follow-ups.
  • Develop knowledge of key clients and stakeholders to offer proactive support.
  • Take ownership of departmental projects and initiatives beyond routine administrative tasks.
  • Organize Club meetings, managing logistics, documentation, and communications effectively.
  • Support contributions to Board reports by coordinating inputs, monitoring actions, and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Assist in planning and executing important events such as the annual Broadcaster Workshop.
  • Stay updated on current affairs, industry trends, hospitality, and cultural events to provide informed recommendations.
  • Collaborate closely with the Executive Assistant to the Chief Media Officer to support department priorities and operations.

Candidate Requirements

  • Several years of experience providing executive support to senior leaders.
  • Highly organised, adaptable, and able to juggle multiple tasks in a demanding environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Strong written communication skills, with excellent proofreading ability.
  • Exceptional at building trusted relationships and managing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proactive problem-solver who anticipates needs and addresses issues proactively.
  • Experience in organizing events, including international ones.
  • Experience managing complex global travel arrangements and visa applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of adjusting to diverse working styles.
  • Maintains discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times.
  • Confident and clear communicator.
