Overview
CBH Homes, Idaho's leading homebuilder, seeks a proactive Event Detailer who excels at taking initiative without needing detailed instructions. The role requires a hands-on individual comfortable working outdoors and independently managing event setups and related tasks.
Primary Duties
- Lead the full process of setting up and breaking down events for community and internal activities.
- Maintain event signage, flags, and materials, proactively addressing repairs before they are noticed.
- Ensure event areas and model homes are clean, well-organized, and ready for guests.
- Relocate event materials independently as required.
- Manage field assignments and operational projects for the Events Team.
- Act as a representative for the Events Team during community grand openings and special events.
- Assist with office relocations, event preparation, and operational initiatives.
- Perform light external upkeep such as parking lot maintenance, seasonal tasks including snow removal and weed control, and overall property presentation.
- Oversee inventory and organization of event storage spaces and materials.
- Maintain readiness and organization of event equipment and supplies.
Typical Work Week
- Setting up or tearing down event spaces individually or with colleagues.
- Preparing model homes and communities to welcome visitors.
- Transporting signage and event assets between different locations.
- Organizing supplies and storages to streamline future setups.
- Participating in 1-2 Saturday open house setups monthly within CBH communities.
- Engaging in hands-on projects to uphold community appearance.
Candidate Profile
- Capable of independently handling tasks without close supervision.
- Quick thinker who adapts and makes appropriate decisions when unexpected situations arise.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to organization and quality execution on the first attempt.
- Dependable, physically capable, and able to work outdoors in all seasons.
- Effective communicator who keeps team members informed even when working solo.
- Familiarity with Gmail and Google Calendar.
- Positive attitude with strong enthusiasm for engaging in new projects.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain active throughout a full shift.
Additional Information
This role collaborates closely with the Event and Marketing teams and requires someone self-motivated who takes initiative without repeated instructions.
CBH Homes is transitioning to a new headquarters in Caldwell, Idaho, in 2027; this role will relocate accordingly.
