Role Overview

We are seeking a full-time Equity Research Analyst based in Dubai to perform comprehensive analysis of companies, sectors, and markets within the Middle East, South Asia, and other emerging territories. The analyst will be responsible for constructing and updating financial models, evaluating company fundamentals, drafting investment memos, and assisting in due diligence processes. Monitoring portfolio performance, tracking pertinent news and data, and delivering insights to the investment team are also key facets of the position. Collaboration with team members and founders is essential to refine investment strategies and discover new prospects.

Qualifications and Skills

• Exceptional analytical capabilities and research proficiency to assess companies, sectors, and market developments.
• Expertise in financial modeling to develop, analyze, and stress-test valuation and forecasting frameworks.
• Understanding of capital markets and investment principles to evaluate risk-return dynamics and advise investment decisions.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral, to produce clear reports, memos, and presentations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline; advanced qualifications such as CFA or higher degrees are advantageous.
• Attention to detail paired with strong organizational aptitude and the capacity to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Competency with data tools like Excel and financial databases, coupled with an enthusiasm for emerging markets and early-stage ventures.
• Ability to function effectively within a small entrepreneurial team, maintaining professional discretion and integrity.
