Equipment Inspected

• Garage equipment
• Lifting and pressure equipment used in factories
• Materials handling machinery, including forklifts
• Social and domestic apparatus such as stairlifts and personnel hoists
• Mobile plant machinery including MEWPs and earth-moving equipment

Main Duties

• Operate in accordance with company procedures and Risk Assessments and Method Statements to ensure safety for yourself and clients.
• Manage workloads independently with support, ensuring timely client appointments and efficient scheduling.
• Consistently deliver high-quality customer service to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Carry out inspection duties at various client locations as this role is not office-based.

Experience and Skills

• 1 to 3 years' relevant engineering experience
• Practical knowledge of regulations such as Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007
• Effective communication skills across multiple stakeholders
• Competency in Microsoft and Apple IT software
• Strong customer service understanding and application

Qualifications

Possession of a recognised Level 3 Engineering qualification or Level 3 Engineering Apprenticeship, such as NVQ Level 3.

Salary

Salary ranges from €46,000 to €69,250 depending on experience and qualifications.
