Engineer Production Planning & Scheduling

Role Overview

Reliance Industries Limited is looking for an Engineer for Production Planning & Scheduling at its Silvassa site. The role focuses on planning production, tracking consumption, managing inventory, and supporting site-wide coordination and reporting.

Key Accountabilities

• Prepare the annual production plan for the site.
• Track production and consumption trends and identify any gaps.
• Handle inventory control for bulk chemicals.
• Carry out yield accounting and reconcile data across the entire site.
• Work closely with HMD plants and functions, business groups, purchase teams, and other manufacturing locations within the organization.
• Coordinate logistics planning and related activities.
• Develop MIS reports for senior management.
• Keep the site performance KPI database current and accurate.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Hands-on proficiency in SAP, particularly PPPI and SD modules.

Education

A bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field is required.

Experience

• A minimum of 3 years of experience is needed, preferably in hydrocarbon accounting at plant level.
• Additional exposure to hydrocarbon accounting, Sigma fine, supply chain management, and tank farm operations will be considered an advantage.
