About the Role
We are seeking an Ecommerce Operations Specialist to manage daily operations of a rapidly expanding direct-to-consumer beauty brand's Shopify website. This role requires a hands-on operator who is deeply familiar with Shopify, enjoys experimenting and testing, and is committed to maintaining a high-performing, well-organized site.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily tasks and quality assurance on korres.com, including product uploads, product detail page (PDP) updates, landing page and banner management, Shopify tag administration, and collection organization.
- Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests and site experiments using VWO, turning hypotheses into actionable outcomes.
- Apply Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) strategies to merchandising, personalization features such as homepage and PDP carousels, and optimize the customer purchase journey.
- Oversee end-to-end new product launches covering content creation, PDP copywriting, asset preparation, merchandising decisions, quality assurance, and monitoring post-launch performance.
- Manage promotional banner updates during live site-wide campaigns, including availability during on-call go-live periods.
- Adjust merchandising of landing and collection pages based on seasonality, inventory levels, and performance data.
- Produce regular site performance reports using Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Shopify Analytics, and Triple Whale data.
- Monitor inventory synchronization between Shopify and fulfillment centers and coordinate replenishment efforts with headquarters supply.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in ecommerce operations or site management with strong proficiency in Shopify tools including product management, discount settings, theme editing, and bulk-edit tools like Matrixify.
- Practical experience in A/B testing and SEO-focused CRO initiatives, including running tests, interpreting outcomes, and implementing improvements.
- Demonstrated ownership of daily site operations and quality checks in previous roles.
- Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and reporting capabilities.
- Ability to handle high volumes of work across multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills for clear collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in beauty, skincare, wellness, or lifestyle direct-to-consumer sectors.
- Familiarity with CRO tools such as VWO and Hotjar.
- Exposure to ERP systems, with SAP experience considered a plus.
- Basic knowledge of on-page SEO techniques.
- Experience with reporting tools like Triple Whale and Google Analytics 4.
