Role Overview

As the Dispatcher, your primary responsibility will be efficiently coordinating field service operations in alignment with customer needs and spare parts availability. This involves scheduling service appointments, managing spare-part orders, and optimizing route planning for the Field Service Engineers to ensure prompt responses and minimal travel durations. The role demands clear understanding and documentation of customer issues for seamless communication with service teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Arrange field service visits in sync with spare parts delivery timings.
• Initiate and track spare parts ordering processes.
• Plan and optimize Field Service Engineers’ schedules to enhance responsiveness and decrease travel time, including preventive maintenance tasks.
• Capture and document customer concerns accurately to facilitate effective handover to the Field Service team.
• Prioritize and monitor ongoing cases to guarantee adherence to required response and resolution deadlines.
• Ensure timely execution with proper handoffs and no delays.
• Collaborate with service members to identify, prioritize, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

• Strong technical acumen paired with exceptional coordination and multitasking skills.
• Experience dispatching Field Service Engineers is beneficial.
• Fluency in both spoken and written German and English is mandatory.
• Ability to adapt to evolving requirements and tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Proactive and hands-on approach to solving problems.
• Commitment to delivering quality service and promoting continuous improvements.
• Familiarity with SAP and Salesforce Service Cloud is an advantage.
