Position Overview

Highland Hills, part of Trinity Health Senior Communities, is looking for a committed Dishwasher to help maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment critical for delivering quality dining services and safeguarding residents from foodborne illnesses and cross-contamination.

Key Duties

• Prepare dishwashing and pot-sink stations before meal services.
• Clean dishes, cookware, and utensils during meal times and store them correctly afterward.
• Follow weekly cleaning schedules for kitchen and equipment maintenance.
• Properly dispose of trash, boxes, cans, and bottles in designated containers.
• Sweep and mop floors in kitchen, walk-in refrigerators, and tiled dining spaces.
• Clean and care for floor mats.
• Strictly adhere to sanitation protocols to maintain a safe dining environment.
• Execute daily closing procedures consistently.

Requirements

• Capability to understand and follow both written and oral instructions.
• Physical ability to lift weights of 50 pounds or more.
• Capability to remain standing for lengthy periods.
• Willingness to handle hot liquids, cleaning agents, and contaminated materials while following safety guidelines.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Comfort working in warm, high-temperature environments.
