Job Summary

As a Dishwasher at Whistler Blackcomb, you will be part of the Food and Beverage team delivering exceptional guest experiences. Job Details

Position Title: Dishwasher
Location: Whistler, BC, Canada
Work Type: Full-time, year-round position (10 months)
Minimum Age Requirement: 18 years or older
Starting Pay Range: $20 to $23 per hour
Housing: Available
Shift Availability: Full-time hours with varied schedule including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

Assist in transporting equipment and supplies up the mountain using the gondola alongside team members, based on the resort location
Follow directives provided during pre-shift meetings led by management
Gather all dirty dishes, utensils, and cups as part of dishwashing tasks
Ensure that all dishware is sanitized properly before reuse to meet health and safety standards
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen appliances and tools before use
Comply fully with all established safety procedures
Support back-of-house operations by cleaning workstations and assisting with prep cook duties as necessary
Organize and clean storage spaces to maintain orderliness
Optional participation in skiing or snowboarding activities after work, subject to location

Requirements

On-the-job training will be provided to teach essential skills and safety practices
Able to work effectively both independently and as a collaborative team member
Strong willingness to learn and personal development
Proficiency in English sufficient for clear communication
Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
Physical capability to stand for long durations, bend, and lift or carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds
