DevOps Engineer

Job overview

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join the team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building and supporting software solutions, along with solid hands-on exposure to DevOps practices, tooling, and pipeline setup across the application lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Keep the continuous integration and continuous delivery process running smoothly for large-scale enterprise software solutions.
• Build deployment tools and scripts to release software across multiple environments.
• Recommend and implement improvements to build and deployment pipelines where needed.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure application-specific configuration needs are properly aligned.
• Make sure application quality and security requirements are applied according to defined standards.
• Track and monitor systems as part of the DevOps feedback loop.
• Be available on standby around the clock to provide production support.

Requirements

• A Diploma or Degree in Computing, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability are important for this role.
• At least 4 years of development experience, including work with a DevOps toolchain, is expected.
• Hands-on experience with CI tools such as Jenkins is required.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools including SonarQube, Nexus Repository, and AquaSec Trivy is expected.
• Experience working with container platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift is needed.
• The ability to pick up new technologies quickly is important.
• A sound understanding of software development practices is required.
• Knowledge of software testing concepts and related tools is expected.

Additional information

This is a full-time onsite position based in Singapore. The role includes a requirement to remain on standby 24/7 for production support.
