About the Role

Join the Royal Mail team as a Postperson with driving duties at the Lerwick Delivery Office (ZE1 0AA). This is a permanent role offering 37 hours per week, working five days across the week (Monday to Sunday) between 08:45 and 17:45.

Key Qualifications and Personal Characteristics

  • Must have a full UK manual driving license with no more than six penalty points.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Guaranteed hourly wage of £13.68, paid monthly and adjusted according to working hours if part-time.
  • Eligibility for the Scottish Distant Islands Allowance: an additional £2,500 per year paid monthly for employees in Shetland Islands.
