Amber Petroleum Ltd seeks a dedicated Deli Supervisor to join their team in Charleville, County Cork. This permanent position requires flexibility with shift patterns, including early mornings and evenings.
Responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance with HACCP and food safety policies, keeping all records current and accurate.
- Monitor and control stock levels as well as waste management of deli items.
- Introduce innovative ideas to elevate both sales figures and departmental quality standards.
- Oversee day-to-day deli operations and supervise team members to boost sales outcomes.
- Direct employees in tasks such as cooking, serving, packaging, and counter operations.
- Manage inventory storage, upkeep, and rotation to prevent product damage or spoilage.
- Ensure all deli products are clearly labeled with correct pricing and expiry dates.
- Resolve customer inquiries and issues with the highest level of professionalism.
- Promote a culture of excellent customer service and teamwork within the deli section.
- Complete back office administrative duties as necessary.
- Assist with the preparation of inventory assessments and sales budget forecasts.
- Provide staff training on company policies and sales procedures.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience working as a Deli Assistant.
- Strong background in customer service roles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to perform collaboratively within a team environment.
