Key Responsibilities

• Gather, cleanse, and verify data from diverse sources to maintain accuracy and consistency.
• Construct and execute advanced SQL queries, including stored procedures, views, and functions using Microsoft SQL Server.
• Leverage Python to streamline data processing, conduct data analysis, and create ETL scripts.
• Examine substantial datasets to detect trends, patterns, and actionable business insights.
• Design and sustain reports, dashboards, and visualizations for various stakeholders.
• Enhance SQL query efficiency and database performance.
• Conduct thorough data quality assessments and address inconsistencies.
• Work alongside business users to understand reporting needs and provide analytical solutions.
• Record data workflows, business regulations, and technical documentation.
• Assist with data migration, validation, and quality assurance testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to boost reporting efficiency and data precision.

Required Skills and Experience

• 1 to 2 years experience in a Data Analyst or comparable position.
• Proficient in Python, specifically libraries like Pandas and NumPy, for data manipulation and automation.
• Practical expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and Transact-SQL.
• Deep understanding of SQL querying, including joins, stored procedures, views, and functions.
• Experience in data cleansing, transformation, and analytical processes.
• Knowledgeable in database architecture and performance tuning.
• Expertise with Microsoft Excel for analysis and report generation.
• Familiarity with visualization tools such as Power BI is advantageous.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving aptitude, and communication skills.
• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in fields like Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, or related disciplines.
• Understanding of ETL workflows and concepts related to data warehousing.
• Experience with version control tools like Git.
• Background in Agile software development methodologies is a plus.
