Role Overview

Join Meta as a Data Analyst in Global Operations where pioneering automation and intelligent tooling is reshaping how data analytics drives impactful decisions. This position empowers you to leverage your analytical skills alongside an AI-focused approach to create and implement analytical frameworks and automated workflows that streamline operations and support informed strategic decisions on a global level.

Key Duties

  • Collaborate closely with operational, data science, engineering, and product teams worldwide to tackle multifaceted business challenges by developing AI-first analytic strategies.
  • Design, develop, and fine-tune scalable data pipelines, dashboards, automated reporting systems, and self-service analytics tools accessible across Meta.
  • Lead efforts to incorporate AI technologies into analytic processes, fostering learning and advancement of modern analytical techniques within teams.
  • Translate complex data insights into clear communication for both technical and non-technical audiences to guide business choices effectively.
  • Continuously investigate and test new technologies and automation approaches to enhance analytic capabilities.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 7 years of professional experience in analytics, operations, product development, engineering, or similar roles, preferably within high-pressure tech or consulting sectors.
  • Bachelor's degree in quantitative disciplines like Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Expert knowledge of SQL and proficiency in Python for complex data analysis and automation tasks.
  • Experience in designing and operationalizing robust data pipelines and building production-grade dashboards using BI platforms such as Tableau.
  • Demonstrable success in using AI tools to enhance productivity, including fostering AI adoption and education within teams as an added advantage.
  • Strong foundation in statistical methods applied to business contexts.
  • Capability to independently oversee analytics projects from initial concept through execution and adoption, measuring their impact rigorously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (Master’s or above) in areas like Data Science, Statistics, or Computer Science.
  • Practical experience with AI or machine learning model creation, deployment, or integration.

Compensation

The position offers an annual salary ranging from $125,000 to $178,000 plus bonuses, equity, and benefits. Actual compensation depends on skills, qualifications, experience, and job location. Benefits details are available separately.
