Overview

This position is for a Data Analyst at a growth-stage UK fintech company focused on building intelligent B2B2C engagement systems for major mortgage lenders. As a key member of a newly formed data function, you will manage and enhance a live data stack consisting of Redshift, dbt, and LightDash, advancing it to a highly sophisticated analytical platform.

Responsibilities

Manage and troubleshoot the data transformation layer using dbt and LightDash to deliver fully reliable reporting for client-facing teams.
Design and implement complex cohort-level forecasting and retention models to support executive-level reporting for Tier-1 mortgage lenders.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to set up instrumentation for new features and perform thorough experimentation analysis focused on user journeys.

Requirements

At least three years of professional experience in data analytics, preferably in startup or scale-up environments.
Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python, including libraries such as pandas and numpy.
Practical experience with dbt transformations in cloud warehouse environments, with Redshift preferred.
Demonstrated ability to work with complex relational data structures in B2B2C or SaaS contexts and translate technical insights into accessible narratives for non-technical stakeholders.

Additional Information

Remote position covering the UK or the European Union.
Competitive salary range between £50,000 and £68,000 per year.
Opportunity to participate in monthly workshops in London and contribute substantially to product strategy through behavioral data insights.
