About the Role

This Australian-based opportunity is with a partner company seeking a skilled Data Analyst. The position focuses on influencing business strategies through effective use of data, automation, and analytics. Collaborating with technical and business stakeholders, the role involves creating dashboards, refining reporting systems, and developing scalable data solutions to enhance operational effectiveness. Utilizing advanced business intelligence, AI, and cloud tools, the successful candidate will convert raw data into actionable insights that impact various business functions. Main Responsibilities

Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using contemporary visualization software.
Investigate data from operations, sales, recruitment, and finance to identify trends, opportunities, and insights into performance.
Develop and implement scalable reporting frameworks, data models, and KPIs to facilitate organizational growth.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity across diverse platforms and business divisions.
Design and implement cloud-based workflows and automated processes to streamline reporting, minimizing manual tasks.
Apply AI technologies to enhance report efficiency, automate processes, and support data-centric projects.
Execute data extraction, transformation, validation, and reporting tasks predominantly using SQL.
Manage API integration between business systems and resolve data connectivity issues.
Document all reporting methods, technical processes, and analytic solutions to maintain consistency and scalability.
Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to continually enhance reporting capabilities and operational outcomes.

Desired Qualifications and Skills

Minimum 5 years experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or related domains.
Proficient in SQL and Python for analytical querying, reporting, and automation tasks.
Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel and strong skills with Google Sheets.
Experienced in developing dashboards with tools like Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or equivalent platforms.
Skilled in cloud-based data processes, RESTful API usage, and data integration.
Knowledgeable about AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or other large language models to boost productivity and reporting quality.
Understanding of automation techniques, workflow improvements, and business process optimization.
Experience supporting operational functions through data analysis and performance metrics reporting.
Preferably holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar fields.
Demonstrates analytical rigor, precision, effective communication, and capability to work independently in dynamic settings.
Cultivates curiosity, adaptability, and a continuous learning mindset with a readiness to embrace new technologies.
