Data Analyst

About the Role

We are looking for a meticulous and analytically skilled Data Analyst who can translate intricate data into valuable insights to support decision making across the business. The role involves gathering, cleansing, and examining large volumes of data to identify trends and patterns. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for developing reporting tools and interactive dashboards that enable stakeholders to gauge performance and refine strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze both structured and unstructured datasets to uncover meaningful patterns.
• Create visual data representations to facilitate understanding among business users.
• Generate periodic and ad hoc reports supporting various business needs.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across multiple platforms and systems.
• Collaborate with departments across the organization to understand analytical requirements and offer actionable advice.
• Identify areas for improvement through data-driven insights and monitor KPIs to drive process enhancements.
• Automate reporting procedures where possible to improve efficiency.
• Contribute to the enhancement of data governance and business intelligence methods.

Qualifications and Skills

• A bachelor's degree or higher in disciplines such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics, or Business Analytics.
• Strong analytical skills capable of interpreting complex data and deriving actionable recommendations.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and validation.
• Experience with visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or comparable software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including formulas, PivotTables, and analytical functions.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R for analysis and automation tasks.
• Understanding of statistical techniques, data modeling, and reporting best practices.
• Familiar with ETL workflows, data warehousing principles, and database administration.
• Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring high data quality.
• Strong problem-solving ability combined with effective organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work autonomously while also collaborating within multidisciplinary teams.
• Adaptability to fast-changing environments and eagerness to learn emerging analytical technologies.
