Cybersecurity Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to join a confidential government organization based in Dammam, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. The role involves ensuring the organization's cyber defenses are robust and compliance standards are consistently met.

Primary Duties

• Monitor cybersecurity incidents and respond promptly to threats.
• Deploy and sustain security controls based on best practices.
• Perform vulnerability scans and penetration testing to identify security weaknesses.
• Maintain adherence to established cybersecurity frameworks and policies.
• Oversee firewalls, endpoint security measures, and security monitoring tools.
• Analyze security alerts, investigate issues, and recommend corrective strategies.
• Generate detailed security reports and contribute to awareness programs.

Candidate Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related discipline is essential.
• Demonstrable work experience of three to five years in cybersecurity roles.
• In-depth understanding of network security, firewall management, SIEM platforms, endpoint protection, and risk mitigation.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS Controls.
• Professional certifications like Security+, CEH, CISSP, CISM, or GSEC are advantageous.
• Strong skills in analysis, problem-solving, and communication.
