Job Overview

The Custodian role is essential for ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of the company’s facilities in line with established standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize hand brooms, power scrubbers, sweepers, and vacuum cleaners to clean the terminal meeting company expectations
• Remove all trash daily from offices, restrooms, and break rooms, ensuring trash cans are emptied and sanitized
• Stock restrooms with necessary supplies to maintain hygiene
• Move, relocate, and adjust office furniture as needed
• Monitor pest control systems to ensure efficiency and maintain top sanitation standards
• Clear ice and snow from pedestrian walkways and parking areas
• Keep company grounds free of litter and debris
• Prepare and maintain accurate labor and equipment reports as required by the company
• Maintain logs documenting repair history by equipment type
• Report any safety issues promptly to the shift supervisor
• Adhere to OSHA and MSDS regulations consistently
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the Operations Manager

Qualifications and Requirements

• Strong attention to detail in daily tasks
• Effective communication skills
• Prior experience in custodial or related work is required

Additional Information

This position offers an hourly wage of $18.00.
