Courier/DOT-6 Driver

Role Overview

As a Courier/DOT-6 Driver, you will be responsible for operating company vehicles to efficiently deliver and pick up packages while maintaining excellent customer service. You will verify shipments to ensure they meet service standards and perform additional assigned duties.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must hold a valid license for the assigned vehicle type.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle heavier packages using equipment or assistance.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Maintain a neat appearance due to frequent customer interaction.
• Must comply with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations Section 391 and pass required medical examinations.
• Age requirement: minimum 21 years old.
• Proficient English reading and speaking skills to interpret traffic signs and interact with traffic enforcement personnel.

Preferred Details and Conditions

• Position based in Columbus, OH, requiring onsite work five days per week.
• Compensation up to $22.11 per hour, reflective of various employment factors including experience and job-specific qualifications.
