Role Overview

We are seeking a Courier to serve the Gainesville, FL branch. This role involves the collection, transportation, and delivery of medical specimens, lab supplies, and reports, ensuring exceptional service to clients. The position utilizes a company vehicle with the potential option for personal use at a nominal monthly fee.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and load all required supplies for daily pickups.
• Complete scheduled pickups promptly each day.
• Return all collected specimens and materials to the branch by shift end.
• Handle specimens and lab samples safely and efficiently.
• Operate company vehicles responsibly, following all traffic laws.
• Use handheld electronic devices to manage and track daily pickups.
• Coordinate with dispatchers for additional pickups as necessary.
• Assess traffic conditions, alternative routes, and weather to optimize delivery times.

Qualifications

• No mandatory prior education or experience required.
• Preferred: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Preferred: Minimum one year of driver or courier experience.
• Preferred: At least one year of customer service experience.

• Strong punctuality with excellent time management abilities.
• Keen attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to address and resolve customer issues effectively.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum age of 21 years.
