Job Purpose
This role involves coordinating operational expenditures, managing contracts in commercial and procurement areas, and aiding in cost-efficient planning to promote business growth. The role includes monitoring expenses, conducting data analysis, overseeing budgets, and supporting decisions that optimize costs.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure logistics operations facilitate prompt and efficient delivery of goods and services.
- Contribute to developing and implementing logistics strategies and plans.
- Maintain precise documentation for inventory, shipments, and deliveries.
- Assist procurement in contract and vendor relationship management.
- Ensure adherence to corporate policies and international logistics regulations.
- Track and report performance metrics and key performance indicators related to logistics.
- Help resolve operational challenges in logistics.
- Work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders to improve logistics workflows.
- Organize training programs for staff on logistics procedures and best practices.
- Support ongoing enhancements of logistics systems and processes.
External Relations
Engage with external parties such as consultants, third-party service providers, and government entities as necessary.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain roles.
Preferred Professional Certifications
Qualifications like APICS, CSCP, or CLTD certifications in Supply Chain Management or Logistics are advantages.
