Job description

Role Overview

The position involves engaging in advanced research and development in computer vision technologies, focusing particularly on training and fine-tuning vision generative models and expansive multimodal models. This role contributes to enhancing products within Baidu's Global Business Unit by implementing cutting-edge AIGC (Artificial Intelligence Generated Content) technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and development for computer vision technologies emphasizing generative and multimodal vision models.
  • Leverage state-of-the-art AIGC technologies to drive product improvements within Baidu's global business units.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to address real-world business challenges, facilitating ongoing product innovation and sustaining market leadership.
  • Document technical achievements thoroughly through reports, patents, and academic papers.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or higher in computer vision, natural language processing, deep learning, or related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of two years of professional experience in relevant fields.
  • Proficiency in Python or comparable programming languages.
  • Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
  • Demonstrated experience working with generative models like Diffusion models and multimodal architectures.
  • Capability to leverage deep learning for practical problem-solving, eagerness to explore emerging technologies, and aptitude for proposing and rapidly validating innovative solutions.
  • Preferably, a proven history of significant technical accomplishments including first-author papers at premier conferences (CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICLR), success in coding contests (e.g., ACM), or influential contributions in open-source projects.
  • Mandarin Chinese language skills can be utilized as part of the working language.
