Role Overview

We are looking for a meticulous, data-driven Compensation Lead to fully oversee our compensation systems. You will handle tools like Radford for survey reporting and Pave for compensation cycle management, ensuring they effectively uphold Affirm’s policies and meet employee needs. This position involves key daily compensation operations, aimed at maintaining programs that are both competitive and efficient.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee full administration of Affirm’s semiannual compensation processes from start to finish.
  • Lead and contribute to all phases of annual compensation studies assessing Affirm’s market competitiveness, including auditing roles for their duties and requirements, handling benchmarking survey coordination, and recommending adjustments to compensation structures encompassing cash and equity ranges.
  • Conduct special analytical projects related to various compensation areas such as incentives, equity programs, and pay equity reviews.
  • Manage pay reporting for multiple geographical regions supported by Affirm.
  • Support compensation-related training and communications company-wide.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in compensation or people analytics field.
  • Proven experience with compensation management software, preferably Pave.
  • Strong analytical skills with passion for transforming raw data into actionable insights using Excel, Google Sheets, Sigma Computing, Claude Code, and similar tools.
  • High attention to detail, responsibility, and ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
  • Team-oriented with excellent communication skills, adept at cross-functional collaboration to meet deadlines.
  • Exemplary judgment and integrity in handling sensitive confidential data.
  • Capability to handle diverse, complex data sets and perform comprehensive analysis.
  • Effective verbal and written communication, distilling complex information for employees and senior leadership.
  • Strong organizational abilities to juggle multiple priority tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Customer service focus and knowledge of regulatory compliance relevant to compensation plans and programs.

Compensation and Benefits

The base annual salary ranges from $112,000 to $172,000 CAD, with new hires typically starting at the lower end of the spectrum. The full compensation package may include equity rewards, monthly stipends for health, wellness, and technology expenses, along with comprehensive benefits such as fully subsidized medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees and their dependents.
