Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily assistance and personal care to women with disabilities living in a shared home environment.
• Deliver customized support aimed at fostering independence and skill development.
• Help facilitate social activities to enhance participants’ engagement and growth.
• Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with both participants and their families.
• Keep thorough and accurate records ensuring safe and compliant practices.

Requirements

• Demonstrate a compassionate and optimistic approach toward care.
• Maintain calmness, patience, and confidence when supporting individuals with complex behaviors.
• Possess creative problem-solving skills and thrive within a collaborative team setting.
• Previous experience in disability support is highly regarded.
• Availability to work all hours throughout the day, including mornings, afternoons, overnight shifts, both active and sleepovers.
• Covid-19 vaccination is mandatory.
• Must have clear NDIS Worker Screening and National Criminal History Record Check.
• Provide two professional references.
• Hold a valid driver's license.
