About the Role

Join SERVPRO of Vacaville / Dixon as a Cleaning Technician in Auckland, New Zealand, where you'll work in a dynamic, hands-on environment focused on quality and customer satisfaction. This role involves restoration services, equipment maintenance, and supporting project teams through the entire process.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and stock work vehicles with necessary equipment, products, and supplies, ensuring cleanliness and order of vehicles and tools.
• Prepare work areas by staging and setting up equipment for restoration tasks.
• Execute restoration procedures as directed by supervisors.
• Handle the packing and processing of customer belongings, including furniture, clothing, and important documents.
• Use ICAT systems to monitor customer contents accurately.
• Maintain communication with supervisors and colleagues to optimize restoration workflows.
• Clean and break down job sites at the end of each day and project, keeping areas tidy.
• Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness, including office and grounds maintenance as assigned.
• Enhance knowledge and skills related to restoration techniques, cleaning agents, and equipment usage.
• Perform other tasks as required by management.

• Communicate professionally and clearly with supervisors, team members, and clients.
• Contribute to a positive customer experience by consistently delivering high-quality work.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous experience in cleaning, restoration, or construction is advantageous.
• Demonstrated strong work ethic and effective verbal communication skills.
• Preference for candidates with custodial or housekeeping backgrounds.
• Ability to successfully complete background checks where applicable.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• IICRC certifications are a plus.
• Physical capability to lift at least 50 pounds regularly, up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to engage in prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking.
• Capacity to perform repetitive pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying tasks.
• Comfort working with cleaning chemicals and products.
• Willingness to travel locally and out of state as necessary.
