About the Role

Royal York Property Management is a prominent firm managing numerous residential rental properties throughout Ontario, Canada. We are currently seeking dependable and meticulous Cleaners to join our expanding team of cleaning professionals.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform move-in and move-out cleaning services for residential rental units.
• Conduct thorough turnover cleaning in vacant apartments and houses.
• Provide routine housekeeping services in occupied residences as needed.
• Clean various areas including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living spaces, floors, and common surfaces.
• Carry out detailed cleaning tasks such as scrubbing baseboards, interior cabinets, and appliances.
• Use a mobile application to receive job assignments, read instructions, navigate using GPS, upload photographs, and update work status.
• Inspect work before leaving to ensure it meets company cleanliness standards.
• Report any property damage, maintenance issues, or cleaning challenges encountered.
• Travel between appointments using personal vehicle to carry supplies and equipment.

Requirements

• At least two years of paid professional cleaning experience.
• Comfort with both move-in/move-out cleaning and regular housekeeping duties.
• Ownership of a reliable vehicle for transportation to job sites carrying necessary supplies.
• Possession of personal cleaning supplies and equipment suitable for residential cleaning tasks.
• Having a smartphone capable of running a mobile work app with GPS, photo capture, instruction reading, and job status updates.
• Ability to clean kitchens, bathrooms, floors, baseboards, cabinets, appliances, and other thorough cleaning areas.
• Capacity to work independently while following detailed cleaning instructions.
• Basic proficiency in English communication.
• Dependability, punctuality, and comfort with GPS-based arrival confirmations.
