Role Overview

Royal York Property Management, a leading property management company in Canada, is seeking reliable and detail-focused Cleaners to join their expanding team responsible for cleaning residential rental properties across Ontario. The role involves various cleaning assignments including move-in and move-out cleaning, vacant unit turnover, as well as routine housekeeping in occupied homes.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out thorough move-in and move-out cleaning for rental residences.
• Conduct detailed turnover cleaning tasks for vacant apartments and houses.
• Perform regular housekeeping duties within occupied homes when required.
• Clean multiple areas including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living rooms, floors, and other common surfaces.
• Undertake deep cleaning such as scrubbing baseboards, cabinets interiors, and inside of appliances.
• Utilize a mobile app for receiving job assignments, navigation with GPS, uploading photographs, and updating work progress.
• Inspect work post-cleaning to ensure it meets company quality standards.
• Report any property damages, maintenance issues, or cleaning hindrances.
• Use own vehicle to commute between different cleaning appointments.

Mandatory Requirements

• At least two years of verifiable professional cleaning experience.
• Proficient in performing both move-in/move-out cleans and ongoing housekeeping.
• Possession of a dependable vehicle to transport oneself and cleaning materials to job sites.
• Own all necessary cleaning supplies and equipment to independently complete tasks.
• Have a compatible smartphone capable of running work-related applications, GPS navigation, photo-taking, and job status updates.
• Comfortable with meticulous cleaning tasks across various home areas.
• Ability to work autonomously and adhere to cleaning instructions.
• Basic proficiency in English for communication.
• Reliability in punctuality and able to meet GPS-verified arrival times.
