Role Overview

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) position is a full-time, remote opportunity responsible for defining the strategic vision and steering the overall course of August Packaging. The CEO will supervise financial outcomes, operational productivity, and business growth initiatives while aligning decisions with the company’s core principles and long-term ambitions. Daily duties involve leading the executive leadership team, deciding on resource distribution, directing sales force and market expansion strategies, and nurturing strong partnerships with clients, collaborators, and stakeholders. The CEO will track key performance metrics, handle risk management, and promote ongoing enhancements across departments. Additionally, this role entails serving as the company's public face, advocating for cutting-edge packaging solutions, and nurturing a culture marked by accountability, collaboration, and exemplary performance.

Qualifications and Experience

• Robust financial expertise encompassing finance management, budgeting, forecasting, and comprehensive fiscal oversight.
• Proven track record in operations management involving process optimization, supply chain monitoring, and efficiency advancements.
• Experience in business and strategic planning, with competence in establishing, conveying, and implementing long-term growth plans.
• A history of successful sales leadership, market growth initiatives, and effective relationship-building with customers and partners.
• Extensive executive leadership experience at the C-suite level, ideally within manufacturing, packaging, or allied industries.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder relationship skills, adept at guiding varied and distributed remote teams.
• Demonstrated ability in driving innovation, managing transformative change, and fostering a culture that values inclusion and shared principles.
• At least a bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline; an advanced degree such as an MBA is preferred.
