About the Role

Northrop Grumman invites skilled individuals to join as Chief Aircraft Inspectors for a stationed role in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This position involves working on groundbreaking aerospace projects that have global impact, supporting technological innovation ranging from historic aviation milestones to advanced stealth technology and space exploration. The role demands dedication to safety, precision, and quality in aircraft maintenance and inspection.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough quality control inspections on Bombardier BD-700 Global Express (USAF E-11A) aircraft during deployment.
• Perform final inspections to verify all maintenance has been completed correctly before returning aircraft to service, ensuring adherence to FAA and governmental procedures.
• Determine needs for post-maintenance functional and flight checks and provide detailed inspection guidance to maintenance personnel.
• Manage and update technical libraries, aircraft forms, and records relevant to quality and compliance.
• Carry out Weight & Balance assessments, complete related documentation accurately.
• Serve as site data analyst and oversee technical and compliance documentation.
• Maintain logbooks and quality assurance documentation like CAMP and Corridor logs.
• Implement procedures for preliminary, hidden damage, continuity, and final inspections aligned with FAA standards.
• Ensure all tools and testing equipment are serviceable, calibrated if necessary, and that no defective parts are installed on aircraft.
• Perform quality verification of incoming materials prior to approval for installation.
• Support other quality control initiatives including audits, metrics reporting, tech publications updates, and receipt inspections.

Required Qualifications

• At least 5 years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience.
• Ability to secure and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Possess or quickly obtain a valid US Passport.
• Holder of FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License.
• Proficient in FAA airworthiness requirements.
• Experience with FAA and military maintenance operations.
• Medical clearance including HIV testing and TB-Tine checks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Bombardier BD-700 Global Express aircraft.
• Possession of FAA Inspection Authorization.
• Three or more years experience as a Quality Control Inspector.
• Familiarity with Rolls-Royce BR-710 engines.
• Over 10 years experience with transport category or corporate aircraft.
• Experience in special mission aircraft maintenance.
• Knowledge of Department of Defense maintenance programs.
