Job Overview
The Channel Manager will be responsible for formulating and executing sales strategies aimed at partner recruitment, managing account profiles, and expanding market share by meeting established targets. This role involves competitor monitoring, collaborating with resellers, and coordinating channel initiatives alongside the marketing team.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and carry out channel strategies and roadmaps for assigned service/product lines in alignment with company management.
- Manage partner relationships consistent with corporate strategy and directives.
- Establish and nurture relationships with current and prospective channels and customers to boost sales within the assigned territory.
- Maintain a comprehensive channel and customer database, analyze relevant data, and create metrics to evaluate loyalty and uncover new opportunities.
- Conduct market research and regular visits to customers to identify market needs for existing and future offerings.
- Oversee the complete sales process from quotation through to payment collection.
- Monitor credit and payment statuses, review outstanding accounts, and address resolution matters promptly.
- Drive long-term revenue growth and profitability across the entire product/service portfolio.
- Ensure top-level engagement and support for channel partners, promptly handling issues and queries to meet customer needs efficiently.
- Prepare and present precise sales forecasts and market development updates supporting business goals.
- Promote the company and its offerings within the region effectively.
- Implement and supervise marketing programs and activities, tracking progress and suggesting improvements as needed.
- Utilize systems such as salesforce.com CRM for managing leads, opportunities, and deal registrations to enhance efficiency and standardization.
Talent Development Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the team, encouraging empowerment and accountability.
- Enhance team capabilities and establish a robust succession plan.
- Perform periodic performance evaluations, identify training requirements, and manage employee development plans.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing or a related discipline.
- Three to five years of pertinent experience.
- Hands-on familiarity with TP-Link products or similar networking and enterprise solutions such as D-Link, Ubiquiti, Cisco, Huawei, Grandstream, CCTV, Servers, and Storage.
- Ability to travel within the UAE and Gulf region approximately once every quarter.
- Strong communication abilities complemented by a driven sales mindset.
