The Singapore facility is GE’s largest engine component MRO site, handling over 60% of the company’s global repair activity.
Role Summary
As a Certifying Staff Inspector, you will play a crucial part in upholding quality and safety standards for jet engine components throughout the maintenance lifecycle. Working in close collaboration with operations and engineering teams, your responsibilities will ensure compliance with regulatory and company procedures, while facilitating the timely release of components for continued service.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of incoming, in-process, and completed engine components following written quality plans.
- Confirm that parts fully adhere to required specifications.
- Guarantee accurate, thorough, and properly authorized work completion.
- Intercept and prevent non-conforming components from advancing to subsequent processes.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers and Quality System Engineers on investigations, audits, and evaluation activities.
- Document and relay inspection results and quality feedback to engineering personnel.
- Oversee area management, including scheduled maintenance and housekeeping duties.
- Validate the completion of all maintenance procedures.
- Issue Authorized Release Certificates (ARC) to clear components for return to service.
Candidate Profile
- Must have passed CAAS M10, CO2, TM1, and M15 examinations.
- Minimum of two years’ recent experience working in an MRO environment, specifically with certifying responsibilities in the last six months.
- Thorough understanding of CAAS, EASA, and FAA regulatory standards.
- Prior experience with a C-rating MRO company is advantageous.
