Role Overview

The Cash Processor plays a vital part in the smooth operation of banking and business cash flow by managing cash accounting activities in branch locations. This role involves verifying bank deposits, preparing cash shipments, and ensuring cash moves securely between locations. Working in a dynamic setting, the Cash Processor focuses on maintaining the integrity of cash transactions while supporting operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately process, verify, reconcile, and report all incoming and outgoing currency transactions.
• Escalate any transaction discrepancies promptly to shift supervisors or team leaders.
• Perform comprehensive data entry for each transaction.
• Prepare currency orders and replenishments for outbound delivery.
• Handle check imaging using systems such as Nautilus, BTMS, and VTM.
• Identify and report any inconsistencies to ensure financial accuracy.
• Complete all required checklists within established deadlines daily.
• Strictly comply with Brink’s security policies to prevent loss or security breaches.
• Follow all standard operating and safety procedures without exception.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations at day's end, including waste bundling and proper sorting of deposit slips.
• Ensure timely delivery or filing of all processed work and documentation.
• Accurately complete paperwork to provide thorough audit trails.
• Lead by demonstrating the organization's values emphasizing safety, customer focus, integrity, engagement, and continuous improvement.
