Care Assistant

Job Overview

North Bay Group seeks a compassionate individual dedicated to delivering exceptional, person-focused care that promotes dignity, independence, and well-being of residents in alignment with organizational policies and Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene tasks such as washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility support.
• Support eating and drinking needs based on individual care plans.
• Encourage resident autonomy and personal choice wherever feasible.
• Provide emotional support, companionship, and reassurance to residents.
• Follow bespoke care plans and risk assessments diligently.
• Maintain accurate daily care documentation and promptly report any changes in residents' health to senior personnel.
• Accompany residents to appointments and engage them in activities as needed.
• Uphold safeguarding protocols and report any concerns without delay.
• Ensure the residents’ environment remains safe, clean, and comfortable at all times.

Additional Information

• This position requires a weekly commitment of 16 hours.
• Previous experience in care, support work, or similar people-oriented roles is favorable but not a requirement.
• The annual salary for this role is £10,081.
