Role Overview

Join Rahantech GmbH in Erlangen as a CAD Engineer responsible for creating 3D models and technical drawings using leading CAD software. Your expertise will be critical in designing components, assemblies, and full systems while collaborating closely with project management, manufacturing, and purchasing teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D models and technical drawings utilizing software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, Inventor, or Siemens NX.
• Design and engineer individual parts, assemblies, and complete systems with precision and innovation.
• Work in close partnership with project leaders, production departments, and procurement to ensure design feasibility and integration.
• Implement engineering changes and optimizations to improve functionality and efficiency.
• Maintain adherence to applicable standards and quality guidelines throughout the design process.

Candidate Requirements

• Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Technology, or a comparable qualification such as a certified technician or technical draftsman.
• Several years of professional experience using modern CAD tools effectively.
• Strong technical aptitude combined with meticulous working habits and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in German language both spoken and written; English skills are an advantage.
